The first paper is a qualitative research and the second one is the quantitative research. The reasons are as follows:
First of all, the research methods in the first paper is through interviewing and observing children, teachers, parents, and administers’ interaction, reaction, language use and learning contexts, etc. The second paper is through students’ performance by taking pre- and post-tests after having the reading programs and through experiment, investigation, and data analysis.

週四參加了一場國小英語領域創造力教育種子教師研習, 一到現場就有教學資源贈品可以拿! 講師是臺北市龍山國中的詹麗馨老師, 其實之前就在她的 blog 留過 message, 當時就很欣賞她對教育之熱誠以及無私的分享! 沒想到在這個機會見到詹老師本人, 好像看到偶像的感覺!!! 龍山國中英語領域教學團隊設計了英語每日一句 'A Sentence a Day,' (跟富安國小的英語通關密語, 有異曲同工之妙耶! 當詹老師在說明的時候, 覺得有共同的教學理念呢! : ) 右邊那本是老師親手編寫的基本字詞 Basic Vocabulary 1200. 好用心製作的 pocket book for reviewing vocabulary all the times!

阿財鍋貼
阿財鍋貼位於石牌, 聽說天母還有分店, 石牌這一間附近有公有 parking lot, 停車方便也是考量點之一呢! 在裕民一路吧. 這間店其實已經去過了好幾次, 這一次終於有帶相機去, 跟大家推薦喔! 每次去都座無虛席, 照片就是招牌的鍋貼囉, 現包現煎, 粉新鮮!

校際交流:花蓮水源國小
今天是學校本學期的大日子之一, 是與花蓮縣水源國小校際交流, 上一次是我們的小朋友到他們那裡去接受款待, 今天換我們的小朋友當小主人, 學習如何待人接物, 如何招待客人喔! Cindy 今天帶著這兩個班體驗多功能語言教室, 他們充滿了 SUPER 的熱情和活力!! 我們也一起度過愉快的時光!

萬聖節要到囉! 應景一下! 今天全校繪本導讀的是 'Winnie the Witch! ' Cindy 手上拿的是書的主角, 也是國外進口的 Winnie 巫婆, 還有一隻 black cat Wilbur! 後面有情境佈置, 還有之前畫的南瓜燈籠 Jack-O'-Lantern! 現在終於派上用場了! 希望讓小朋友藉由閱讀來體驗西方文化! 也更加熟悉第二外語!

95年度北市國小全面推動英語教學成果報告
臺北市政府教育局於今（3）日下午，針對臺北市國小英語教學之成效，向馬市長進行簡報。馬市長聽取簡報及各方意見後相當肯定臺北市自91年度起國小1至6年級實施英語教學之成效。馬市長再次強調實施英語教學之同時，仍要掌握臺北市「一主軸兩併軌」語文政策，亦即以國語文的學習為主軸，英語及鄉土語言為輔助之原則。
馬市長表示，國小實施英語教學，但不可輕忽中文的學習，如果中文學不好，英文也會學不好。會中，馬市長也提醒應該避免錯誤的迷思，亦即一定要學英語才有競爭力，事實上學習英語是了解不同文化以及培養在國際上可以與他人溝通的能力，與競爭力無關。因此，在觀念釐清後，推動語文學習的方向才會正確。也就是唯有把中文學好，教出來的學生才有競爭力，教師在教學時候應該要特別注意。

McDonald's 最近主打的套餐: 板烤米香堡套餐, 本週三教師第二專長 Natural Science 研習順路去品嚐一下, 其實是因為現在有 Kitty 公仔大放送, 贈品好像是主要的誘因, 嘻! 我選擇 gold Kitty, 顏色有很多, 由餐盤上的紙張可以看到有兩大排. 也可以一口氣買整套還附贈一個帆布材質的 Kitty bag, 不過我還沒有那麼瘋狂啦~

中秋國慶日連假, 去逛Chung-Yo Department store的 Eslite bookstore 的童書區, 發現 Clifford 等一下就有 '握手會!' 發現身旁都是小朋友在等候, 只有 Cindy 這個 '大' 朋友也在 stand-by 呢! 我很喜歡 Clifford, 可愛呢 ~~~收集了很多相關產品 ^_^
