According to Hughes’ (2007) statement, young learners might require their test to have special features:
Children response well to pictures, attractive typography, and color. Tests should include these features if possible. It goes without saying that the content of all pictures used should be unambiguous for all the children who may take the test. Pictures may be included even where they are not necessary to complete a task.
