Dr. Chia-Hui Cindy Shen is a Google Certified Trainer and a senior English educator at Taipei Municipal Tianmu Elementary School in Taiwan. With nearly 20 years of experience in public elementary education, she also serves as the Director of a Teacher Education Center and advocates for SDG-focused, bilingual, and technology-integrated learning.
Dr. Shen earned her Ph.D. in English from National Taiwan Normal University and her M.Ed. in English Instruction from the University of Taipei. She is passionate about project-based learning (PBL), self-regulated learning (SRL), and international exchange programs. Her interdisciplinary teaching approach bridges language education with digital innovation, climate action, and global citizenship.
Dr. Shen regularly conducts teacher training workshops across Taiwan and Asia, sharing practical strategies in AI-enhanced teaching, VR/AR applications, formative assessment, and cross-curricular design. She is also a published educational columnist and was honored as one of Taiwan’s Top 100 Innovative Educators by Parenting Magazine.
Her research interests include reading instruction, AI in education, digital pedagogy, and international collaborative learning. She believes in empowering both students and teachers to become creative, courageous, and compassionate global learners.
