   感恩節，帶領學生一齊吟唱 I'm Thankful for what I've Got 這一首歌曲、共同閱讀 The Thankful Book 這一本繪本，以及完成一張感恩節 Thanksgiving 學習單。
教學設計理念：
1. 歌曲教學，讓學生從歌詞和旋律中，認識更多表達感恩之意的英文單字和句型。

秋季，舒適的季節，Autumn pumpkins. 
 

今天，全球歡慶的感恩節；今天的讚美日記：
I am thankful for my teachers, who always give caring and encouraging words to me, and trust in me!
I am thankful for my teaching career, which gives me happiness and a sense of achievement!

Thanksgiving started in the early days of settlement in North America. 
Encourage the children to think about why and when they might be thankful.
Personal, social, and emotional development
Express needs and feelings on appropriate ways. 
Have a developing awareness of their own views and feelings. 
Procedure
1. Beofre the session, cut out a pumpkin-shaped piece of paper for each child and giv them out. 
2. Listen to the song "Autumn Days."
3. Invite the childdren to discuss why and when they say 'thank you.'
4. Ask the children to choose one thing they are thankful for. Write their thoughts in large clear print on their pumpkins. 
5. Share and discuss all the views and feelings written on the pumpkins. 
Questions for discussion:
Why do people say thank you?
When do you say thank you?
What sort of things can you say thank you for?
Resources: Per child, A4 size paper; pencils
I am thankful for my family.
