Cindy魔法ABC教室

連續三個月每週五下午的電子白板研習受訓，從我們學校要轉公車-->捷運-->公車才會到，雖然一樣在臺北市內，不過要一個多小時才會到，午餐也都隨意解決，下課後也都天黑了，不過每一次的種子教師訓練課程都是收穫滿滿的！
Reflection:
    After the three-month ICT trainer training program in British Council, I found that ICT can help teachers to use this state-of-the-art technology comfortably and conveniently for presentation not only in teaching but also in demonstrating as one of the teaching materials. As far as I am concerned and, there are three main points of reflections after the ICT trainer training program. 
    First of all, as an English teacher, after using ICT, I found that my students absorb information effectively, and participate actively in English language activities. Compared with the learning atmosphere in the past, students were neither willing nor encouraged to ask questions or express their opinions. On the contrary, with the ICT, now they are motivated to learn by themselves because they can get feedback directly for checking their comprehension and get involved in classroom activities.

    Second, I would like to express my appreciation to Bureau of Education in Taipei City. Because of their support, our school was given Interactive White Board in each classroom, and I am thankful for British Council and all of the staffs, particularly our trainers, Ben and Steven. You are professional and you always patiently guide us how to design various interesting and meaningful activities, and I am thankful for your prompt assistance for the detailed functions. 

    In addition, each time after the course, when I go back to school, I can’t wait to demonstrate what I have learned in these training courses. I would like to share with other teachers who are interested in integrating ICT into classroom. I am inspired to develop more creative and interactive activities involving text, sound, graphics, and animations for young EFL learners. 

    In the near future, I am willing to share and exchange some ideas with other teachers not only at Fuan Elementary School but also other schools. The workshop aims to highlight how to integrate ICT for young EFL learners, and during this demonstration, specific and practical hands-on activities will involve participants in experiencing the implementation of ICT in-class activities. 
    The attached documents are the proposal of the workshop, the flipcharts I have developed, and photos about ICT activities with my students. Thanks for the kindly assistance you have contributed for teachers in Taipei City.
