兩班三組成果書面和口頭報告完成,終於可以來好好整理分享這一個教學活動在部落格了!開心和您分享!#iPad 指導我的四年級學生(10-11歲)閱讀臺北市政府教育局英語共讀繪本 If You Give a Robot a Battery,讓學生在閱讀前進行預測策略(predicting strategy),閱讀時再確認預測的內容是否和作者相同,保持學生對英語閱讀的興趣!
學生使用概念構圖製作App,
在閱讀前,進行英語繪本內容之預測,
與同儕進行英語小組的心智圖活動,
整合運思過程和稍後展現預測成果。
在這個App中,
學生可以即時討論、
即時調整,和即時上傳至 Google Classroom!!

• Concept mapping can help learners organize their knowledge and evaluate their knowledge structure in many content areas.
• Concept mapping can facilitate learners' language learning outcomes, thinking, and reasoning skills.
• Concept mapping helps students to make meaningful connections between the main idea and other information.
• The dual coding predicts that if students are offered the same conceptual material in a concept map format, versus a non-graphic format, the concept mapping approach would lead to better memorization of the reading materials.
• Concept mapping appears to promote the use of self-monitoring and knowledge acquisition strategies and to increase self-efficacy for learning from English text (Chularut & DeBacker, 2004).
• Based on the theory of autonomy and self-regulated learning in second language acquisition, this reading activity uses a mobile mind map app to assist learners' storybook reading comprehension.
